Following recent development work on both squeezy and jarred accompaniments, our client wanted to investigate possible routes to the next generation of offerings.

What we did

Quali-quant research was conducted in both the UK and France to explore potential flavour routes and a variety of packaging options.


Consumer feedback was used to develop:

  • a firm brief for both the R&D and marketing teams outlining the properties of the new products to be developed under each format.
  • a long-term product pipeline for the client’s accompaniments range.
  • guidance on shortlist flavour options to develop further in each format, understanding the role of the product and exploring various packaging options.
