The Issue

The client wanted to disrupt a long-established product category with packaging that was different from current. New technology allowed for several new pack shapes to be developed.

What we did

A CLT was conducted to quantitatively assess 3 new pack designs.

As stimulus was early stage mock-ups, a short video was supplied to demonstrate the pack in use.

Packs were presented as 3D printed models and on-screen images. Branding was introduced in the final section of the study.

Qualitative was also integrated as part of the study to get more granular feedback and provide further development guidance.


The most appealing pack was identified with the added benefit of making the respondents daily routine more enjoyable.
