The Issue

One of the UK’s leading strategic research agencies wanted to undertake extensive online testing on different prototype designs of mobile devices.

What we did

Category users were pre-recruited nationwide to each attend an extended interview.

Individual respondent stations were set up in large central location venues.

Shelf displays of six live devices were set up at each station for the respondents to fully interact with.

Data collection was online – respondents recorded their responses directly into laptops which used mobile WiFi technology and Live Links.

To ensure nationwide coverage, fieldwork took place in multiple locations throughout the UK.


The client gained extensive feedback on functionality and usability.
