Senior Sensory Manager

Steph plans and manages sensory research programmes to ensure that client objectives are met.

She joined PPL Insights in 2005 after 18 years at MSTS Ltd in a similar role. During her career, Steph has worked on numerous products from alcohol through to yogurt.

Steph has an MSc in Food Science from Reading University and more recently gained CIEH’s Level 4 in Food Hygiene, enabling her to teach Level 2 Food Safety courses. In addition, she has been awarded Fellowship at the Institute of Food Science and Technology and is also on the committee of the Sensory Science Group.

In her spare time, Steph enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to travel and has a long list of places still to visit. Steph also enjoys good food, likes cooking and is an avid reader.
